Some Bunny Loves Spring: DIY Brass & Clay Vase

DIY Brass & Clay Bunny Vase | Some Bunny Loves Spring | Sugar & Gold

Hello Spring! This week is the official start of the season, and we couldn't be more ready for it. With Easter approaching this weekend, I wanted to create a fun DIY to celebrate all things bunny! So I created this brass and clay bunny vase to showcase the fresh flowers that Spring has finally brought us.

To create the vase, I sprayed a glass cylinder vase white and molded bunny ears and a snout out of white clay. I then cut the metallic accents from thin brass sheets and adhered them to the clay. After attaching the clay pieces to the vase, I filled with fresh white peonies.... my absolute favorite. And to bring a little spring color in, I painted abstract backgrounds with poppy colors and metallic gold strokes.

I love how simple this project was but so perfect for the holiday weekend... and such a perfect centerpiece for Easter brunch! This little guy is too cute!
